I’m proud to be a leading champion of conservation efforts in Michigan including the restoration of Michigan’s wetlands. Recently, I had the opportunity to join with some of the strongest supporters for Michigan’s Natural resources in Rockwood for a press conference and site tour to announce a new study showing the economic impact of harmful algal blooms to the Lake Erie fishing industry, as well as the announcement of major new funding effort to combat future algal blooms. We must continue to protect our environment, to keep our families and our economy safe and strong.
